Regular check-in time at A Stone's Throw is between 3 and 6 PM Mountain Standard Time.  Earlier access to your room may become available based upon previous guests. If you find yourself in Livingston prior to your check-in time, feel free to park in front of the house and walk the easy 3 blocks into downtown. Your host is happy to provide recommendations for local sights and shops and a great place to grab lunch.  Guests are welcome to enjoy the front porch and living room.  The Landing deck is for currently checked-in guests.

If you find that you are unable to make the check-in time, it is important that you call us as soon as possible at 406-222-5221.  We understand travel sometimes does not go according to plan.  But in respect to other guests and the owners here, we require advanced notice of late arrivals.  Remember, we arrange our afternoons to accommodate your arrivals.  Due to not having staff on hand 24/7, we often cannot take last minute reservations or reservations for same day arrivals.  Please call prior to inquire about last minute availability.

Check out time is at 11 AM, Mountain Standard Time.  Based upon our occupancy load and incoming guests, we will try to accommodate late check out requests.   A Stone's Throw is a small Bed and Breakfast and we have limited staff.  So, with new guests arriving just a few hours after other guests have just departed, we are not always able to comply.  If you are not leaving town until the afternoon, you are welcome to enjoy the living room and front porch until you depart.

Livingston is located over the mountain pass from Bozeman where the nearest airport is.  That means many of our guests may arrive late or depart early.  We happily accommodate those check-in and check-out times, as long as we know about them prior.  Please let us know while making your reservation, about how your travel needs affects your stay with us here.  Early departures will miss our main breakfast times, but we will make sure to send you off with a modified breakfast to take with you.
