An original painting within the room, by local artist Lyn St.Clair, inspired the name for this room. Facing the restored Westside Elementary and the historic Northern Pacific rail yards, one can view the trains as they pass through town.
This room includes an open-air closet for hanging clothes supplemented by baskets for folded clothing and ample wall hooks for purses, binoculars and cameras after an adventure-filled day. Situated in one corner is a built-in writing desk with outlets and USB ports for charging all of your travel electronics. Also provided is a direct Ethernet port for any business travelers requiring a hard-wired connection. Of course, Wi-Fi is free throughout the home.
The en-suite bathroom contains a large, tiled, walk-in shower with dual adjustable height shower heads. A framed mirror, Carrera marble counter-tops and hanging space for your toiletry bags compliment the custom-made vanity with electrical outlets thoughtfully placed for your convenience. The shower also has an awning window to help create a breeze and extra ventilation during the warm summer months. This room also receives afternoon and evening light most of the year.
In order to ensure that your room is perfectly adjusted to your climate preferences (regardless of the season), each of our guest rooms is equipped with a quiet and efficient Mitsubishi mini-split . These remarkable units provide refreshing air conditioning during the warm months of summer and supplemental heat in winter. If you like fresh air, every room has a large, top down/bottom up window (with a screen) that operates in tandem with our blackout window treatments. Additionally, your room will have a remote controlled ceiling fan for circulating our fresh Montana mountain air. Finally, during the winter months, you’ll enjoy silent radiant heat that will delight your feet whether they are on carpet or on the tiled floor of your en-suite bathroom.
The four-poster wooden bed is topped with a custom-ordered 12” Eco Comfort Foam Mattress.
